Conversion of Volstad Surveyor to OceanXplorer (On behalf of Damen Shiprepair and Conversion)

In the period November 2018 till August 2020, CLOCSS was assigned the challenging task to act as Lead Level III Coating Engineer at Damen Shiprepair & Conversion.

This is the most advanced exploration, research, and media vessel ever built.

The complete and extensive scope of work where several coating contractors were on the job was managed by us as well as carrying out Certified IMO-PSPC Coating Inspections for the Dedicated Seawater Ballasttanks, all logged and filed in the ship’s Coating Technical File (CTF) of this lovely vessel.

The entire period we worked in close cooperation with Damen’s Project Management Team and the Owner’s Representatives.
